Hi All
About a week ago my 120g tank srung a leak caused by moving the DIY backdrop. So I'm pulling everything out and starting from scratch. I decided to put in an under gravet jet system and use two aqua clear 802's to push the water thru. Below are some pics:

This is my set-up before the jets are added.
Below are picture of my set-up after jets are installed

Please let me know what you think.
I'm also torn between reusing my DIY backdrop or making a new light weight concrete one. Below are the pics:

I am considering hot glueing rock to the bottom portion of the egg crate then filling in the gaps with great stuff foam covered with shell sand while still stick. Or should I pitch it all and start over with light weight concrete over egg crate?

I think that the rock formations that you're hanging on the back look great.

My opinion would be to use a 1/2" foam on the back of the tank instead of egg crate. That way it could be colored without having to fill in any holes and it could be natural looking. If you wanted to transition from the existing rock to the foam you can use cement.

I'm not sure if that helps you out, but that's what it looks like you could do.

Here are a few changes I made.

Had to change from 4 jets to three. Wasn't enough flow with 4.

These are the power heads I orderd on ebay. I got a real good buy, but notice that the magnet is missing an impellor propellor. Luckily I had an old 402 that has a creacked impellor housing. The impellor from the old one fit the new on.

Here you can see the two 802 power heads hooked up to whole house filter via rivermuds thread below:

The whole house filters you can find at wally world for $4 and change. The label is below:
