started a tank of africans

i've got a six ft tank and have two frontosas a interuptus a cobalt blue zebra sulfar crested lithobate a plec cat and a pakistani loach and had a taiwan reef i there also had the water checked and it was spot on but the taiwan reef died would anyone know why??

did you cycle the tank??

the list you've posted is full of incompatible fish. frontosa grow to be large piscivores. mealnochromis and maylandia can be aggressive fish, and the haps might not get on well with that.

I strongly urge you to work out what you want from a tank, rather than throwing fish in. and choose species that are compatible together.

thanks for that i wasn't sure what went with what but yeah i did cycle the tank.
