I like to give my Malawis a little change once a week with spirulina flakes instead of the usual NLS pellets. I've been giving them Ocean Nutrition brand, but since I started paying more attenton to contents, realized it's way heavy on protein. It has 48% which is way more than the 34% in Spectrum.

So what would be a good alternative? Who makes a spirulina flake food that is heavy on the veggies and light on protein? I looked at a couple in a LFS today and found that the ones I checked had 40%+. If you know of a good one, please give me a recommendation. Thanks.

I prefer HBH Veggie Flake over all the other "green" foods. I buy it bulk in a freezer bag, though, and it doesn't have the ingredients listed on it. I remember when I had my Tropheus and started looking around for a good veggie food, though, and this was the best I found.
