I just started my first Tanganyikan tank and am wondering what I should feed them.
75 gallon tank
6 extra small Multies
6 small Comps
6 small Julies

I did some searches on the forum and read something about NLS grow so I bought some but now see that it is much higher in protein than the regular NLS I have always used for Mbuna. I'm looking for specific advice for my particular species and size of fish. Thanks!

I use mostly NLS and I use .5mm for small mouths, 1mm when larger and possibly 2mm when needed. My adult multies and julies do fine with 1mm and the adult Comps do fine with 2mm.

I actually use a combination of the above 3 sizes to feed tanks that have varying sizes of fish, you just need to watch how much everyone is eating and not over feed.

I do have NLS Grow and use it for feeding very tiny shellies but all use decapsulated brine shrimp for the same purpose.

1mm fine for all of them for their lifetimes...NLS Grow is for very young fry.

Those fish are carnivores so if they will eat the NLS Grow no problem feeding it until you use it up.
