Hey Mikey, if no one locally can step up to help you out I suggest you check out the BRC thread - someone (either Blair or Ruurd - I don't remember) had and axcelent post detailing how to sex these guys with stunning accuracy...
Familiarize yourself with that post and then head to an LFS and spend a good 10 minutes at least watching the tank... It's amazing how accurate one can sex these guys after watching them interact for a short while... The big tip off for me is the females ovipositir - if you see a protusion behind the anal fin and ahead of the tail fin that is big & blunt you are most definately looking at a female - you can't mistake it when you see it next to a males...
