Hello,

Was hoping someone could answer a question for me. I've been breeding peacocks for a long time now, and I just had my first female spit where the egg sac is still attached to the babies. They can't really swim as a result. What do I do?

I scooped them up and put them in a floating breeder box, so that mom can't get to them (or other tiny fish in the fry tank). Do I feed them now? I've read that the yolk sac is there food for now. Do they still have to tumble? If so, I'm screwed because I don't have an egg tumbler.

Any advice you can give me is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The head and tail are both out. So do I treat these "wigglers" same as I would fry? I.e. feed 4 x's a day - 50% water changes every other day. Or do I not feed until the egg sac is gone and they are free swimming?
