Hi all, I see others have snails in there planted breeding tanks and they get fry :)
My triple red pair are on their third attempt and the snails seem to get the eggs during the night :? The pair is very young.
I have now put a LED tea light on for them in hopes they see the snails, is this needed, or will they figure all this out on their own as they keep trying ? I see the female carry snails out during the day, so I know she is dealing with them, I don't have that manysnails as they seem to eat the baby snails for snaks, but there are still some roaming about, more so at night.
Thanks, Laura

I see them eat my cory eggs all the time in my other tanks.........the snails were near the eggs when I inspected my cact's coconut hut house the other day. She carries them out of there during the day. I have been removing the big ones as I see them........but you can't get them all
hmmm maybe only certain snails eat eggs?? Thanks for the input anyway :)
