I just can't remember what I have read. What silicone should I use? I picked up a tube of GE silicone II but I just noticed that it says it is mold and mildew resistant, should I worry about this?

there is a sticky on the top of this forum. GE 1 for widows and doors is generally recommended. Absolutely do not use the one you have, it will kill your fish.

Just to clarify: all silicones for bathroom use contain fungicides that will harm fish. Silicones for windows and flashing generally do not have fungicides and are safe to use.

This leads to much confusion, because most brands come in both versions.
