Hi everyone, i have resealed small aquariums before with all glass aquarium sealant and i was just wodering if it would be good enough to reseal a big tank. I just picked up a 135 gallon and it is a little older and needs to be resealed. Is there any silicone that is better or stronger, or is the all glass silicone good enough? Thanks

GE 1200 series silicones are stronger than the GE Silicone I. However, for sealing, this is less of an issue than if you are building. The inner fillet is just insurance in case there are any voids in the butt joints between the glass panes. It really isn't there to add strength. A tank that has been carefully assembled will not leak even without the inner fillet seal.
