Hi everyone
I have a 40 or so gallon fishtank with a 2 parrot cichlids, a jack dempsey and a convict. I have had them for 5 years or so. We experienced a power outage last wednesday night for 20 hours. When the power came back on, the large parrot cichlid was struggling, lethargic and at the bottom of the tank on his side. the water was cold. I did several water exchanges and all the fish perked up quite a bit once the temperature returned to normal. they have seemed fine since. This morning the large parrot who was struggling back then is again at the bottom of the tank. Water parameters are good. Was it just too much for him? Happy to do more exchanges. He did eat last night...
thanks for any advice
