I have noticed that a lot of the mail order vendors do not guarantee cyps or xenos when shipping them. How has this worked for everyone? I am a bit scared to put in an order for 17+ x $10 fish plus shipping with no protection at all. I was planning on ordering a couple extra just in case but I would hate to ship fish that really can't take it.

I would love to hear from folks that have shipped these guys, especially long distances given my location (Alaska). Any advise?

My advice... make sure you go with someone with a lot of experience and you shouldn't have any problems.

I don't know of many people that will ship to Alaska ... and ship cyps. I'm sure if you went with one of the sponsors there would be no issues and you would get credit if something went wrong.

Cyprichromis are not that hard to ship but make sure you and the seller understand the terms.

Pm me if you have a hard time finding someone to ship them to you. I know of an experienced online dealer that has shipped to Alaska many times without issue.
