i have a tiny little tank ( about 40 litres) sitting in my garrage which i would like to setup in my room.

but i am unsure baout what kind of fish i can keep in this little monster.

what would you recomend that would not get to big and if i can get a trio or more in it would be sweet.

this tank is about 40 - 50 cm wide and comes out about 30 cm so it has a tiny foot print.

how big do julidochromis dickfeldi get once they are matured ?

I'm terrible at conversions, so I'm guessing, about 10 gallon?

I assume you want cichlids, since you mentioned j. dickfeldi.
I always suggest multipunctatus. They are cute and small.
I wonder if a trio of julidochromis transcriptus would work in there. Neat personalities.

If not cichlids, it would make a nice little planted tank with a school of white clouds or other
small tetra types and cherry shrimp for the clean up crew.
