I had to return my kodak easy share camera under walmart warranty due to a bad flash & they, sent me a walmart card for the purchase price of the original camera. We got it on sale & at the time my wife somehow got a discount off of that so it was cheap. Now my wife doesnt want to go over the g.c amount and I hate the selection. The return had a 10x zoom. Now the ones they have in the $103 range are all 5x optical zoom. Theres others that go by milimeter but I dont know how that compares to a 3x, 5x ect.. optical zoom. So whats better a 5x optical zoom or one of these? I'd love to get an slr but its not in the budget.
For example-
28-140 mm zoom http://www.walmart.com/ip/Kodak-M532BlueBndle/15935280
33-175mm zoom http://www.walmart.com/ip/Kodak-Easy...undle/15602438
