Hi Experts, need a quick suggestion. My Saulosi gave birth today in a separate tank. Should I keep the mother in the tank with the babies or move her back to the main tank? Also, how to feed the babies? :fish:

Move her before she starts eating the babies...I usually shoot for 24 hours. Crush the adult food finely enough for the babies. They do not know how to eat at first, but I find if I add some water to the food to make a swoosh as it enters the tank, it attracts their attention and they figure it out quick enough. Assume the babies have no egg sac and are swimming freely?

Thanks. I will wait for a day before releasing her back...probably she'll gain some strength. The babies are free swimming and all (16-17 !) took refuge under a rocky cave in the tank away from their mother.
