hi,

this is my first time dealing with babies. my kids found them so far found 4. i had a feeling the female was holding but was unsure. now i know.

so my first question is what do i feed them. my second is how do i do a water change w/out sucking the babies up.

they are in a 55 hex , 1m 2f adult, i feed the adults NLS. they all be in a 60 long tank eventually.

I just read they're herbivores, Crushed pellet/flake (what you feed the adults).

I'm not an expert so someone should confirm...

The adults will eat the babies, so first thing is to get them out.

You can feed babies crushed adult food or purchased fry food.

The babies will usually get out of the way, but you can use a regular siphon and a bucket. If you accidentally suck any up, they will be fine in the bucket until you are finished.
