Is 100 pounds enough for a 75 gallon I can get a 100 pound ba of blasting sand for just under 20 bucks a bag ood deal ??

should be more than enough, 50 pounds did my 55 with nice sand mounds. I don't think the foot print of a 75 is double a 55. I used pool filter sand $10 a bag.

In my opinion 50 pounds is enough for a 75G. That's what I have in mine, and it's a substrate layer thick enough to grow Amazon sword plants and valisneria. I can't see why anybody would want more substrate, because it would just serve as a dirt trap.

Personally I would not use blasting sand even if I got it for free, because it is too fine. I second Nick's recommendation of Pool Filter Sand.

This is called black beauty its about the size of pfs its the most course blasting sand u can get

I might question Black Beauty blasting sand. It is coal slag, and may have impurities in it. Just a thought
