Hi All,
I run a fish facility for research where we house Haplochromis burtoni to study behavior and animal pigmentation. It runs rather smoothly with a large reservoir that we water change from once a day. One issue I constantly run into is our salt bucket dosing. Our doser is constantly getting gunked up with salt that precipitates in a 20 qt bucket. It's kind of annoying and I wanted to see if others have solutions to these problems? I've thought of heating the solution to dissolve the salt and a mixer but I wanted to hear what others have tried if they have faced similar problems.
Thanks in advance for any tips!
