What fish do you currently have?

Tank dimensions are 6x2x2 180g... currently have geophagus tapajos, an acara, clown loach, Bolivian butterfly and a ghost knife

Festivums and angelfish definitely utilize the upper portions of a tank, even at a young age. Severums and chocalates would also utilize the upper portions of the tank, especially at larger sizes, though they would also utilize the bottom portions more so then the first 2 mentioned.

Had angels a number of times and actually sold half a dozen of them a few months ago as I was sick of them spawning and constantly picking on the rest of the tank inhabitants.. chocolates and sevs are a good option

As has been said, Festivums and angels are what you want. In a 180G tank you could do a group of both.

*** kept chocolates on several separate occasions.
A total of 3 fish.
First one was a large male, Dusky brown and olive colored, very nice and peaceful fish.
Second one was very pale green, with almost no brown. Had small shaped fins in comparison, i'm guessing a female also peaceful.

The third and final one was a male, that I grew from 1" to about 9".
This fish was the biggest ******* around. I grew him out in a 225 gallon with a small giant gourami and a snakehead.
I had to get 12 tinfoil barb dithers to get this fish to leave his tankmates alone. he was just constantly bullying other fish even ones much larger than him.

So I really just wanted to point out that for every time I see them recommended as peaceful friendly species, that in some cases they can be very aggressive.

My vote goes to festivum

Festivum are not readily available in most shops I have been too, I know they are available in Australia but they are very uncommon, any other options?
