How should I clean rocks with lots of rust of them? With a bleach wash and steel wool brush work?

If you'd like to see pics of how much rust there actually is let me know...

I would just clean it as you normally would, though I have only had rock with speckles or streaks of rust. After I have cleaned questionable rocks I like to soak them in something for a bit to see if they flake apart, discolor the water, or catch on fire. While I haven't had any start burning on me yet several have left litttle rings of rust where they were sitting but it wasn't enough to make me worry about the water being discolored.

I guess what "lots of rust" is... I posted a similar question HERE because I found some rocks with rust stains. If there is rust there is iron and I worried about "metals" in my water.
I recieved a responce that said iron is OK and good for plants....

Two days ago I soaked them for 24 hours outside in a 18gallon rubbermaid with two jugs of clorox and water up to the top and scrubbed them the next day with a steel brush and anywhere between 30-55% of rust came off...just as I'd hoped!
