Ok I did love my new Rena XP2 until today it started shooting out micro bubbles. I had it only a few days. Upon first set-up it spewed a ton of micro bubbles which went away in around 10 minutes. Now it's just shooting them out from time to time. Seems to clear up and then start again. It's not a lot like at first set-up but enough that you can see them dancing around in the water and it's not from the water movement either, the movement did make a few bubbles but nothing like it is now. I did the tilt thing, checked for leaks and made sure everything was tightly closed which it is. Any ideas? I'd hate to take it down and return it and have to set another one up all over again.

Thanks

I am almost embarrassed about this and wish I could delete my post... the bubbles were not coming from the Rena. I was going to try and purge the Rena of any air so I unplugged it and was waiting a few minutes. As I was waiting, there are the air bubbles still dancing around so
I thought I'd wait a bit longer and I did, but alas the air bubbles are still there! Well I looked at my Aquaclear filter and the water flow seemed a bit 'off', not less flow or bypassed, just not evenly coming out. So I moved the bio material which is on the very top just a little bit until the water started flowing out more evenly... and guess what? No more micro-bubbles! Weird that the biomax not sitting evenly on the top of the AC filter made all those bubbles. The weird thing is it never did that before and it was fine since I cleaned the media a couple of weeks ago. It must have moved just a little from the flow I guess. Unreal. I feel bad for blaming my poor innocent Rena XP2.
