My lethintrops has a reddish growth behind his fin, we were hoping it would go away in time but it has been about a month and it's still there. It hasn't killed him or infected other fish and he acts normal, but it does bother his fin and maybe has gotten a bit bigger since a month ago. I hope my image worked, it's hard to get a good one as he is an active fish but if anyone has any suggestions on what this could be and why it won't go away it would really help, were worried about him.

Is it a raised growth or a red coloration of the existing flesh? Red marks around fins are often septicemia and it can be caused by poor water conditions. What are your test results for pH, ammonia, nitrites and nitrates?
