HEY GUYS I HAVE 2 RED JEWLS IN MY TANK AND I WAS WONDERING WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THEM BECAUSE THEY HAVE GOTTEN TO BE A NICE SIZE AND WHAT NOT BUT THEY STILL REALLY HAVENT GOTTEN THAT TRUE RED COLOR THAT THEY HAVE. *** TRIED EVERYTHING FROM CHANGING THE FOOD TO THE WATER TEMP. I'M FEEDING THEM OMEGA FLAKES NOW AND BLOOD WORMS. ANY OTHER IDEALS..

A) The caps lock key is on the side of the keyboard typically. Yours is stuck on. No one likes to be yelled at.

B) Tank size?

C) Actual temp?

D) Water conditions?

E) Other tank mates?

F) Do you have a male and female?

Once your jewels start spawning they should develop that pretty red color. And IME once they start spawning they don't stop. If they're the same sex or haven't bonded they won't. Also, I've noticed my jewels will fade a bit if I leave the light off for a few days and leave them with the small quantity of natural light my office gets when I'm not there.
