hello today when i was looking in my fish tank i saw my that my red forest fish has layed eggs on the diftwood there are about 40 off eggs on dirftwood and the felmale is standing around there gruading them i have them with other troical fish such as gourmi and sliver shark and bistlenose but i am not sure what is going ot happen becuase i never had a fish yet to breed in my fish tank i was wondering what is going to happen will the other fish eat all there other babies eggs aslo she has turned really red also i have put heaps of plants in the tank can someone please tell me what i should do cos i never had a fish breed in my fish tank i want atlease one to survie

Hemichromis species typically will very aggressively defend their fry. The first time their aggression will be muted as they are new parents. Depending on the size of the aquarium, they could kill all of the other fish, to keep them away from their fry.
