Tanganyika Cichlids in their natural habitat by Ad Konings published in 1998.
I'm guessing political unrest in the area of Lake Tanganyika has inhibited a great deal of additional research visits to the area, although I keep hoping to see more recent books.
Tanganyika Cichlids in their natural habitat by Ad Konings when combined with Back to Nature Guide to Tanganyikan Cichlids are a great resource. I am yet to buy the Tanganyikan Secrets and the other one with the Giant yellow cichlid on it. Forgot the name of the book...
The books by ad konings are very informative, and have great photos. I also have "Lake Tanganyikan Cichlids" by mark smith, which is more of a beginners guide
