I have a tank with two large angels and bolivian rams.... I just got the fish and they are still getting settled in, what would be the best food for this tank?

I would prefer something that both can eat and be satisfied, but if it takes two different ones, what is best? Thanks

There are a few brands of quality fish foods available, noteably, New Life Spectrum (NLS), Hikari, Sera & Tetra. Each have a good website that you can google and find recommended food types.

Many hobbyists recommend feeding a variety of foods to thier cichlids. I feed a range of types and products to mine, though I go a bit overboard than what the casual hobbyists needs. The basics of what I feed are, NLS Flake, Hikari Cichlid Gold small sized pellets, Hikari frozen brine shrimp, Hikari tropical Micro pellets & Micro wafers and Sera Vipagran.

I have some NLS small sinking pellets, but they seem to sink too fast and the angels dont get them... i am going to try some flakes and see if that helps
