I've been thinking about consolidating tanks...

I have my pink Vieja Fenestratus in a 125 gallon tank along with their 2 surviving fry from their first brood, but was thinking about moving my clown loaches and rainbows in with them. Adults are 5 and 6 inches - fry are about 1 1/2 inches.

What type of rainbows? Various - but the smallest is about 3 inches long and 1 1/2 inches tall.

The clown loaches range from 3 inches to 6 inches.

Good idea? Bad idea? Thoughts?

because the Vieja are breeding, i wouldnt add the loaches or Rainbows, if they werent id say go for it, but...they are.

it may work out, and i would be the type to try it, but if you do, dont be to surprised if you see deaths.

of course, on the other hand, rainbows are faster then cichlids, and id guess that clown loaches are to, so i dunno, i know clown loaches and rainbows are commonly kept with cichlids, but not usually breeding pairs.
