OK so I have been cutting back on what I have in my tank and right now I have 8 convics, 1 JD, 2 GT, 1 yellow lab , 1 severum and a ornage zebera.

My issue is that my JD and my GT are beating up on my smaller GT. Everyone else is getting along ok so far. Even my cons are taking cheap shots at the smaller GT. I had to remove it from the tank.

This all started after I got rid of my Oscar cause I thought he was being the bully of the tank.

Why are they beating up on the smaller GT?

Although they are different fishes, have the JD and GT paired? My guess is that the other fish have sorta staked out their territories and the small GT has no where to go and is being chased out of the other fishes territories.

I cant say for sure if they have paired. They do seem to stick around each other alot. I dont really know which one is which as far as sex. I did move everything around b4 putting the new GT in but I guess it did not help..

I am just going to take it back to the LFS. I could see what you mean about territory .. My cons are always claiming space right away... I think the feel that because they have been with me the longest they have first claim.. not sure...
