Hi everyone, my saulosi just had her first batch of fry.. all up over 25 babies, one wasn't doing so well but the rest looking fit and strong. I've moved mum back to the display tank.

I have them in a separate 78L tank ready to grow... any tips on getting the best results?

smaller tank (less water to change and they dont have to swim to far to get food), not much current (less energy used so they can grow faster). every 2nd day 25% water changes and a fair few small feeds a day. I grew mine up on nls discus food and they grew rather quick.

I agree with the current part, but size of the tank really doesn't make a whole lot of difference IMO. The trade off of better water conditions offset the extra swimming for the food IMO.

Anything under .5" is in my 29g
.5-1" is in my 55g
1-3" is in my 100g

I generally try to sell them by 3" or put them into the tank they'll live in.
