Now that my 180 is nearing completion I am starting to turn my attention to stocking.
I intend to move my Mbuna I currently have (sig) and allowing them to increase their numbers themselves naturally. It's already started and I have about 25 L. sp Mbamba fry growing out in a 10g and my Mainganos are doing the dance :thumb:
The original Male is one beautiful Cichlid! However, in the past I added one C. afra and he was not accepted well. I know... bad to add just one. I assume due to the similar coloration, the male Mamba would not let him have a moments peace and after 3 days I returned it to the LFS.
My question is I would like to add Ps. flavus, (1m / 3 f) but have a concern with the males similar pattern of barring. Granted they are different genus and Flavus are yellow while my Mbamba are Blue (Both females are drab), and there will be a huge difference in tank space and hiding spots.
Anyone have input on their compatability?
