I'm moving my "Kids" to their new home tonight and was wondering where I should place my powerhead.

Currently I have it in the top rear corner. I've seen pic of them place in the middle, bottom, and the top.

What is everone's take on the the subject? What location seems to be the best?

I have had the same problem and really there is no BEST spot for all tanks. Alot of it depends on the placement of the rock work and other decorations. Just start with in what looks to be a good spot to you and after a day or so see where all the poop is collecting. That will show you where the "dead spots" are. Then you can move them or reposition them a little to compensate for those spots. Sooner or later using trial and error you will find what works best for you. Wish there was BEST spot that would work for all tanks but in reality there just isn't.

Just keep trying and you will get it! :wink:

If youre using it for surface movement aim it up....if using it to move debris around so your filters intake can suck it up, just mess around with it. Everyone has different tanks / decor etc. so theres no right way to place it.
