Would a powerhead like this work instead of Under Gravel Jets?

I understand that you wouldn't be directing the "stuff" to the filters but would using this for flow in the front of a 75 gallon tank keep the "stuff" suspended enough to keep it off of the sand and going towards my emperor 400 filters? (Two emperor 400 filters).

I have a 75g and I recently bought the Koralia Hydor Evolution 750GPH. It is just perfect for a 75g imo, the sand is now spotless. There is only the odd pleco poop that will sometimes take longer to reach the filter intake but my pleco is a foot long and his poop is very dense...

Another unexpected benefit is my mbunas are loving the current, especially the demasonis. They form a long line of blue and black and just fight against the current for hours on end :fish:

The Powerhead is in the back-left corner of the tank, aiming toward the surface, helping alot with the oxygenation. All in all a well invested 50$
