I got this cichlids because their owner sold his house so had to rehome them. I been researching about cichlids but I'm having trouble id them.

With what other cichlids can this type be paired with?

The orange ones are red zebras, the blue with horizontal striping looks like a hybrid melanochromis, the yellow one with a black tip on the dorsal fin is a yellow lab, the yellow with black vertical stripes is a crabro aka "bumblebee" and I'm not sure about the rest.

Don't see any Crabro just male Kenyi.

1. Red Zebra male
2. center Kenyi female... females are blue and males turn yellow-orange. adult females can look dull yellow too.
3. Yellow Labidochromis
4. Red Zebra
5. Electric Blue Johanni hybrid (more common) or a very sick looking Maingano. Looks in poor health.
6. Kenyi in yellow coloring phase
7. seems to be a Kenyi in vague dull blue color
8. Kenyi in yellow color phase
9. lower is a male Kenyi in bright yellow- orange phase, upper Red Zebra

These are common Malawi Mbuna, Red Zebra are often hybrids. Kenyi are very attractive blue with vertical bars when small and they change to yellow or duller as adults.
