I am stoked. I have 2 pairs of "Star Saffires". I have 2 females holding right now. I witnessed 2 spawns this week both with my larger dominent male. I plan to strip my females between 18-20 days. :thumb:

I just purchased a pair but they are still a littl young to spawn but i amhoping one day.

I have my proven dominent male in my 150 gallon show tank. My 2 holding females are in my 90 gallon tank with my sub-dominent male & other African cichlids. I believe my phenos are between 3-4 years of age. lol on your pheno's breeding. I have had mine for about ayear.

From what I heard its hard to get the Phenos to breed but I have a wild male and a female ima bout to put in a tank together...hopeful get some breeding going
