Hi, I have a 75 gallon tank and just recently noticed a pretty decent sized pink bubble growing on the bottom side of my white tail acei. I haven't noticed it up until recently so I'm guessing it's something that has grow relatively fast. Is this something that can be fixed? Do I need to worry about it spreading to the other fish?

I have attached a picture of what it looks like. Thanks for your help.

Does it appear to be coming from the anus area of the fish? If so it may be anal prolapse, move the fish to a hospital tank of sufficient size and treat with Epsom salt 1 tablespoon per 5G of water, dissolve the solution in a separate container and add slowly over a few hours.

I don't think it will hurt anything though it does raise the hardness (GH) a bit. If you have a plastic tote or similar long container you could use that also as long as you can maintain the temperature and have a filter.
