Hey, I have a 2 Penguin 200s running in my 55 Gal tank. One is older and the other is new. My older one's biowheel stopped turning. It doesn't look like water flow is terribly slow (although it is less than the new one). Does anyone have any answers to what's happening? Is this bad thing, or can I leave it be?

thanks

I just bought a Penguin 200. It says on the package that it's normal for the filter to slow or stop when it's full of established bactera.

I have the same filter and had the same problem. Like the above post says, you have to take it apart and clean it. concentrate on the intake tube and impeller. I just used a paper towel and wiped all of the sludge off, an old toothbrush(thoroughly rinsed off) to clean inside of the intake tube, put it back together and good as new. :thumb:
