It was my first time also, I normally strip them and remove the female around 19 days into it. Just a while ago it was like she was training the fry or something, she'd pick up a group of them, hold them a few minutes, spit and get another group. I've heard they make clicking noises to let the fry know when to come into her mouth. I haven't heard or seen her doing anything special, but when it's time, they just form up into a group facing her. Coolest thing I've seen in a while.
