I have what i believe is a male aulonacara hueseri and an unknown female peacock. I watched the male build a nest and they turned in circles for a bit so I am pretty sure they spawned. She seemed to be holding because she didn eat and kept doing a "chewing" motion rotating the eggs. There was not really a noticable lump in her throat maybe a little one. Anyway today 6 days after she started holding she was eating flake this morning and swimming around like normal so I can only assume she ate the fry? Will she learn next time or is she just too fat to last 3 weeks without a feed.
