the eheim pro 3 2075 comes with all the media you will need,open the filter when you get it,the media is in each tray ,wrapped in plastic,rinse the media,before rrunning it on your tank,enjoy :thumb:

I didnt have to get anything else at the initial start up,when you need to replace the fine white pad,I bought a roll it and cut to fit
