Changed the water just before I left for a 6 day trip - threw in some of that slowly dissolving vacation feeder stuff - and returned home to realize I forgot to plug the heater back in before leaving!

Luckily I had left the house heat on at 60 degrees - the temp in the tank was 64 degrees.

I didn't have any fatalities :thumb: But is there anything I should watch out for in the next few days - I'm sure the little guys were plenty stressed.

I have socolofi, labs, pseudotropheus, bristlenose, petricola and upside down cats and 1 maybe jaguar?

Guess I should have clarified - I usually keep the tank at 80 degrees - but it was at 64 when I got home

Ich is quite common after a cold-water incident.

i got a tank from a relative that they had kept cold water fish in. turns out one of em was a cobalt zebra. it lived around 4 years with no heat and is still kickin. probably sterile at this point. that jaguar is a tickin time bomb. super aggressive carnivore.
