So it has been about one month of holding for my two Williamsi females...how much longer do you think they are gonna hold? They both look pretty miserable :(

Thanks for the reply.
That same day I saw them release a few fry but take them right back in again. From that point, the other Williamsi started acting very aggressively toward them and beating up on them. I felt bad so I caught both of them and stripped the fry. I now have about 50-60 fry in a very makeshift fry tank (!!!).

Will do as soon as I get them in a bigger bucket (they are literally in a pitcher with a sponge filter right now), gonna do that soon!

Room temp is kept at 76...is that enough? I don't have another heater unfortunately.

Easy enough to stick a thermometer in there...maybe I am imagining it. When I touch my tank water, I'm always feeling like it's too hot or too cold. But the thermometer says it's OK...so I always go by that.

Yeah, I've got an extra thermometer lying around too. I'll check it in the morning as it is lights out right now :) ~Thanks again!

I kind of remember you setting this tank up recently?you must be doing things right as spawning is always a good sign,congratulations and good luck with setting up a little fry tank :thumb:
dont want to get off topic but this is how M.T.S. starts fry tank,grow out tank etc. :lol:
