So I took a close look at my tank for the first time in 2 weeks or so...been pretty busy, you know how it gets. Anyways, I see one of my fish, the Albino Socolofi only he doesnt look normal. Thats because all thats left of him is his spine. Ouch...looks like he pissed someone off and after gettin beat down it became a team effort to have a tasty snack. He was about 1.5", the rest range from 1" to 3". Kinda sad for him cuz I liked him. He was the main inhabitant of my big piece of holey rock...he loved that thing. Ill pour a lil liquor out for my dead homey.

Buttttt, I did find a lil baby fry today. He hides in the back of the tank under the holey rock. Cute lil guy. Hes yellow and about an 1/8 of an inch long. Hope he makes it...and wonder if there are more anywhere...we'll see!

Congratulations on the little one!

Is your stock list still the same as in your signature?

What are the dimensions of the tank?

You may need to switch up things a bit to alleviate aggression.

Thanks!

Yup, thats my list. I already had to take one fish out, he was and orange looking hybrid...mean lil *******. Im tryin to watch them pretty close right now, and until this guy got knocked out it was nuthin more than a lil chasing here and there. The dimensions are 36x18, with tons of hiding spots. I used a bunch of thick slate, a few broken clay pots, the piece of holey rock and some hollow breeding caves to try and help out with the aggression and it seemed to help a lot. Im really not surprised that this guy was the 1st to go being he was probably the most timid in the tank.

I jus hope the lil fry makes it. Id like to see one grow to be a big fish one day. We'll see...

Awwww sorry about your loss. Albino socolofi are one of my favs. Congrats on the baby though :thumb: I'm thinkin the auratus was probably the killer. It really isn't a big enough tank for auratus.

The auratus is still one of the smaller guys...but once he gets a bit bigger hes def. comin out. I jus gotta wait till he swims in one of the hollow rocks so i can trap him without takin everything out. His time is comin... lol
