ok, my fish was holding and it was day 16. so, i got some smaller rocks to put in the tank so she could spit in there because i wanted to try to save the babies for a friend. she was holding, i put the rocks in and then when i went back about 5-10 min later to feed the fish, she wasnt holding any more and started eating all the food like a mad woman!!!!

do you think she got freaked out by the new rocks or something and spit them out?

do you think she saw the rocks and said, ooooh and spit them there to protect them?

or do you think i just wasnt paying attention and she spit them BEFORE i put the rocks in and i missed it. she was still holding last night..... i just really hope she spit them into safety and didnt spit them before i put in the rocks... i hope i wanst too late!

keep a eye on her, my female auratas held for about 15 days and would spit them out then pick them up . if she looks like she is freaking out they may just be in the rocks hiddin and she is looking for them. but it seems about time to let them out
