I have a tank 90 ((( gallon ))) which has housed a parrott and 2 convicts for the last 5 years... Today when I was out, I saw a 6 inch Jag that is a year and a half to 2 years old. so obviously its stunted, my brain said dont get it, my heart said do it, so yeah I did it lol.

What I am wondering is there a chance he can still grow?

I am wondering what *** got myself into lol.

he was in a 40 gallon for 2 years and i dont think he was ever really fed...

well it could also be a she, not sure.....

Question is? Can it grow more? Or will it stay that size?

Thing is a pig already :D and yeah I have already fallen for it lol...

its not shy at all which from what i've read is weird... and so far no agression problems between the 4, parrot runs the tank still haha....

So what can i do to help this guy get healthy?

They told me it had been in the tank for 2 years or so...

Fish continue to grow their entire lives, but the rate of potential growth declines with age. At this point, the Jag will still likely grow a few inches more, but it won't be a "monster." If it's a male though, you might be pushing your luck in a 90 gallon.

Breeding tube is coming out atm...
