*** ordered some more multis as *** found 3 fry surviving among the shells. think the newbies will look after them? also have 6 juli marlieri coming spelled wrong im sure but im pretty toasted and im not googling..on to th rest....i just made arrangements to get 6 wild daffodil *** seen pics and theyre amazing...long trailers beautiful electric blue tips...i cant wait.. i was asking your suggestions on this stocking and if you think ill run into problems. thanks guys o yea 75 gallon 2 ac 110s and id like a few referrals on best heaters in your experience dont wanna relive the horror..

Well, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think your choices will cause problems.

First off, the new shellies, daffs and julies will have a heyday trying to eat the surviving fry. Next, the daffs can be complete terrors when breeding and are best in species-only tanks. Last, but not least, J. marlieri have been known to kill adult shellies while trying to raid the shells for fry. However, if the marlieri breed and defend a territory before the daffs do, then those 2 species may be able to coexist.

*sigh* :roll: Nah, the WC daffs are gonna kill everything else in the tank. If they were tank raised you may have had a chance. But the shellies would still be toast.

Now, there's an exception to every experience, but I do think you'll find more common experience with this combo not working than otherwise.

thanks trisquit...its not a problem...i have the space and i dont mind using it. i still havent gotten the fish yet so well see what happens.and also who goes where. thanks a lot i really appreciate it....i knew i wasnt on the best track but now ill get it corrected
