OB genetics

Can non-OB fish (M. estherae) throw OB fry? I have "cherry red" zebras, and recently noticed a couple small (<1/2") fry that almost look like they have OB markings - I could be wrong, but I think I see blotches. No OB fish in the tank - only the cherry reds, Demasoni, and 1 male albino greshakei that will be moving out soon. Is that even possible?
