Anyone have experiences with how adult Opthalmotilapia Ventralis will behave toward juvenile male ventralis? I know that aggression is increased during breeding periods but I have no first hand experience. I have seen aggressive Mbuna for example, ignore smaller juveniles who pose no threat to dominance and I wonder if this might ring true with the feather fins. Many Thanks.

In my experience, adults males will ignore juvies until they start to become a threat. ie: become of spawning size/age.
And watch out when they do. ; )

Even in a 520 gallon aquarium, one dominant male can be intolerant of other males. Females (except at certain times) and fry are ignored.
