My Oscars are fairly social when it comes to tank mates. As long as they stay out of the Oscars' nest every thing's ok. Do you have plenty of places for your other cichlids to hide? If they all can get their own territory then I think they'd stay out of the Oscar's way. I've heard people suggest adding giant Danios to the tanks with cichlids. As long as they're faster than your Oscar. I have a Plecostomus in my tank. Other than that I can't think of any thing. It's just trial by fire. Good luck!
