Nics have teeth but very small mouths. They will not try to eat what they cant swallow. Mine, with fry, chase the tetras out of their territory but dont try to kill them. So yes, dithers are fine.

Nics in 55gal, tankmates or not?

Wont be looking to keep the fry. I've got a female BN plec in there atm and i dont really wanna move her. I'm guessing she'll be okay, iw as thinking of getting maybe 4 swordtails, not sure if they'd get mullered by the Nics during spawning though.
Dithers a good idea? Dont want the cichlids hiding constantly.
