Any one else ever try it?

So far I'm not impressed. Very hard to soften and makes a mess in the tank. The fish eat it but Cichlid Gold seems so much better.

All of my fish get nothing but NLS. Different sizes for different fish; I used the large fish formula for my buttikoferi, subadult midas, severum, pearsei, and regani. They all love it, and I never soften it at all. Doesn't make any more mess than any other pellet; if it makes a huge mess, you're likely feeding too big a pellet. Try a smaller size.

i use 1mm pellets for all my cichlids.

they love it..... my africans jump out of the water trying to be the first to get it in their mouths

Pellet size is not the issue. This food must taste horrid or its just too hard. Anyway, I'm frustrated by tring to do the right thing for my fish only to end up wasting time and money.

Should have stuck with what I know. Should have gone with the aquadine but did'nt feel like driving that far to get it. Live and learn.
