i bought two of these because they look so pretty.

they are very dark black, with red fins, and one seems to have a white beard. not sick or anything just looks like he has a beard if you know what i'm talking about lol. i searched and looked up in my books but cant find out what they are. anyone have a name for these?

Oreochromis mossambicus, very common at one time, lost popularity due to the availability of brightly colored Mbuna and lack of value due to their fecundity. Non-rift lake East African mouthbrooding "Tilapia" species. Males really can be attractive in breeding color. Females are usually just a plain grey color.

thank you, i didnt think they were africans because they look so big.
